  • Where do I begin? +

    If you have been involved in an accident, you will need to contact your insurance company and then call Kadel's Auto Body 24-hour customer care center for assistance at 1-888-4-KADELS. Our customer care center is designed to take care of all of your needs with one phone call. One of our customer support specialists will gladly assist you with towing, estimate appointments, rental car arrangements and any other questions you might have regarding the repair process.
  • Should I have my car repaired at the same place it was purchased? Does my dealer know more about fixing my car than other repair facilities? +

    A dealer may not be your best choice for collision repair. Many of the highest-quality facilities in the area are not affiliated with dealers. A dealer generally has no unique edge in terms of technology, techniques, or parts availability when it comes to repairing your vehicle after a collision. Rather than automatically returning to a dealer for collision repairs, we encourage you to be a careful shopper when selecting a repair facility. Ask your friends, neighbors, and relatives about the experiences they have had with collision repair facilities, and select the shop you think will provide the highest quality result.
  • Can I request an estimate over the internet? +

    Each repair need is different. Our trained estimators need to view the vehicle up close to assess the damage in order to provide you with a quality estimate.
  • Do I need an appointment? +

    Appointments are strongly encouraged because it cuts down on your wait time. To schedule an appointment for any of our locations call our 24-hour call center at 1-888-4-KADELS.
  • Do you do complete paint jobs? +

    Kadel's Auto Body specializes in collision repair. However, if you have a need for paint only, please contact the store manager directly by clicking on the shop location most convenient for you. You can email shop managers directly or give them a call.
  • How difficult is it to match my paint color? +

    It may be difficult. However, a high-quality facility will take the steps necessary to ensure your satisfaction with the match. The following is a brief description of how paint-matching works: Your vehicle carries a paint code. This code specifically identifies your vehicle's color and is used by the repair shop to determine which paint-mixing formula should be used. This works fine if your vehicle is precisely the color specified by the paint code. However, in the actual vehicle production, there are often slight variations. If your vehicle is not the exact color specified by the factory, the first step in paint matching is "tinting" or varying the amount of the components in the formula. Sometimes, a perfect match cannot be obtained by tinting alone. In these cases, blending techniques are used. The last little bit of variance is made invisible by painting portions of the vehicle adjacent to the repaired areas so that the color changes are unnoticeable. This can make the difference between a very good match and an invisible repair. Proper paint-matching techniques require a high level of skill and sometimes a great deal of patience. At Kadel's, all of our technicians are trained and certified by the paint manufacturer. Be sure you select a repair facility that will take the time to produce a match in the perfect range and will not be satisfied with merely good results.
  • How long does it take for an estimate? What does it cost? +

    The average estimate will take between 15 and 30 minutes for a complete diagnosis of your vehicle. Estimates are free.
  • How long will it take to repair my car? +

    Because each situation is different, there is no standard time period necessary to make repairs. The length of time is dependent on the extent of the damage, availability of parts and your insurance adjuster's timeline. However, we do everything we can to keep your repair time as short as possible.
  • How do I arrange for a rental car? +

    Whether you or an insurance company is paying for a rental car while your vehicle is being repaired, our shops will gladly assist you in making a rental car reservation. Once you have a rental car reservation, that rental will be waiting for you at the shop on the day you drop your vehicle for repairs. When your vehicle is ready for you to pick up, just return the rental to the shop and we'll take it from there.
  • When do I pay my deductible? +

    Your deductible is paid to Kadel's Auto Body when your vehicle is completed and you pick it up. We accept cash, personal checks up to $500, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
  • Can you save me my deductible? +

    An honest repair shop will always say no. Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance carrier. It states that if you are involved in a collision, you are responsible for the first portion of the repairs (your deductible) and any depreciation or betterment on mechanical parts. The insurance company will pay the rest. .However, there is a legitimate way to reduce your cost. Suppose you have a small scratch on your bumper. Suppose further that it would cost $400 to replace it. You can talk to the insurance company about an "appearance allowance." An appearance allowance is a negotiated compensation for NOT replacing your bumper and agreeing to compensate you for a portion of the cost in lieu of replacing.
